Biko Skalla

Biko Skalla is the play-by-play broadcaster for the Savannah Bananas. Before joining the Bananas in 2020, Biko spent two years at MLB/NHL Network and called games for the Saugerties Stallions for two seasons.

Biko earned a degree in broadcast and digital journalism from Syracuse University where he was a two-time captain on the club baseball team, did sports talk radio at WAER, and hosted a variety of shows at Z89.

Born in Kingston, New York, Biko grew up in the neighboring town of Saugerties where he wrestled, ran cross country, and played baseball and soccer at Saugerties High School.
